When a Sinner Meets the Savior

· By EastonBC · 1 min read

The Pharisees thought they had finally trapped Jesus. By bringing Him a woman caught in adultery, they believed no matter how He answered, His ministry would be discredited. Instead, Jesus exposed the hearts of every accuser and revealed something far greater than anyone expected: the only Person qualified to condemn guilty sinners chose to extend mercy instead.

In this message from John 8:1–11, Pastor James shows that this familiar account is ultimately about more than an adulterous woman or a failed trap—it is about the Savior every one of us needs. Jesus neither ignores sin nor excuses it. He offers forgiveness through His grace, calls people to a transformed life, and reminds believers never to forget the mercy they have received. Whether you're exploring who Jesus is or seeking to grow as His disciple, this passage points us to the One who is full of both truth and grace.
