In the close of Paul's letter to the believers in Philippi, he encourages them to stand fast in the Lord knowing that their hope isn't in this life, but is in the one to come. Throughout chapter 4 he directs the dearly beloved toward the Lord expressing how to rejoice in the Lord and know that He is their strength.
In today's sermon we are reminded that as we stand fast in the Lord in our Christian lives, He is to be the center of our focus, and that He will give us a peace beyond our understanding.
