Little by Little

· By EastonBC · 1 min read

Most of us have prayed for God to move quickly—to answer, provide, open a door, or change a difficult situation. Yet in Exodus 23, God reveals that His work often unfolds "by little and little." As He prepared Israel to inherit the Promised Land, He chose not to give them everything at once. Instead, He patiently grew them into the people they needed to become before they received what He had promised. Reflecting on a passage the Lord has continued to deepen in his own life over many years, Pastor Jake reminds us that God's delays are never without purpose.

This message is a gracious call to trust the Lord in the seasons that feel slow, uncertain, or even discouraging. While we often focus on the destination, God is at work in the process—using ordinary obedience, trials, and daily dependence to deepen our faith and teach us to rely on His strength rather than our own. The same God who faithfully led Israel is faithfully leading His people today, accomplishing His promises in His perfect time.

If you've been tempted to wonder whether God is still working, this message offers both encouragement and perspective. Don't lose heart in the waiting. The Lord is preparing you, growing you, and proving Himself faithful—little by little—until the day His promises become reality.
