Discipleship
At the core of our development as believers is our comprehension of the Bible. Our discipleship group meets with the purpose of equipping believers with the tools to get more out of their personal Bible study. We begin with a book of the Bible and work our way from beginning to end focusing on the importance of the words and context. Also, we use language and cross-reference tools to deepen our understanding of the theological, historical and grammatical intention of the author. EBCares
Making the Gospel known is one of the most vital works the church can and should do through our investment in mission work. After believing in Christ, a believer should seek to help others come to know Christ as Savior. The EBCares helps us focus our efforts on making the Gospel known in our community and around the world.
Nursery
Our Nursery ministry embraces the chance to give parents an opportunity to attend service, while leaving their children in the nurturing care of ministry workers on the gospel and loving them well. The goal of our nursery workers is to share Christ’s love, so our little ones (typically newborn to Pre-K) will look forward to their time at Church each week and our parents can enjoy some hands-free time to worship and be saturated in the Word.
Kids
The goal of our children's ministry is to nurture and develop children's knowledge, faith and relationship with Christ and God’s Word in a supportive and age-appropriate environment. We aim to show Christ’s love through relationships, Biblical Teaching, and prayer together. Allowing the kids to learn God’s word on their level and, of course, adding in some games and snacks, allows the parents to focus on the teaching and preaching on their own level.
Middle Schoolers and Teens
The goal of our youth ministry is to encourage our youth and teens to know Christ, know God’s Word, help them develop and/or strengthen their relationship with Christ, and to develop deep friendships with other Christian teens and adults which will help and encourage them in their Christian walk. We want to not only serve our youth but to allow them opportunities to serve God by serving others.
Worship
Part of “Worship” in the church is music! The goal of the worship team is to lead the congregation in hymns and songs of praise to a God we love and trust and want to know more. If the lyrics we sing as a church reflect the God of the Bible, are full of the truth of God’s Word, and come from the hearts of those singing, that is true worship. Our worship team strives to prepare the hearts of our people be ready to hear and receive God’s Word.
Media
The primary goal of our church media team is to effectively communicate the church’s message and mission to both our current church family and the wider community. Through our websites, social media, live streams, podcasts, and service visuals, we strive to reach and engage people both in and outside of the church.
Events
Easton Baptist Church has multiple events each year designed to provide fellowship among our church family, focus on outreach beyond our church family, and to serve others. Fellowship and outreach are both vital parts of a thriving church family, and these events foster and build that community.
