**Few passages in Scripture generate more discussion—or more misunderstanding—than 1 Corinthians 11.** Is Paul commanding women to wear head coverings today? Are his instructions cultural or timeless? Does this passage diminish women or establish a biblical pattern for men and women? In this message, we begin working carefully through one of the New Testament's most debated texts, allowing Scripture to define its own meaning rather than modern culture or tradition. 

Rather than reducing the passage to rules about head coverings, Paul addresses a much deeper issue: how believers should use their liberty in a way that honors God's created order and removes unnecessary obstacles to the gospel. Looking to Christ's own willing submission to the Father as the ultimate example, this study explores how biblical authority, love, and humility work together to display the gospel—not diminish the value of men or women.
